Well done! My 10th grade students just completed a similar assignment. I’m pointing them toward this class blog in hopes that they might be able to offer some helpful advice. My students also posted theirs on our class Ning: http://msward.ning.com. Keep up the wonderful work!
Hello 4C,
Thank you for sharing your essays with us. We listened to them and then shared our responses. Here are a few of our thoughts:
Sara – your essay was extremely moving – very personal content – a bit repetitive, but powerful
Dave – we related to your topic – we thought that your voice and word choice did not convey your passion for the subject – made us think about our beliefs about recycling
Christie – deep and touching – sounded very truthful, your emotion comes through in your voice – great ending and strong word choice
Meghan – you shared a good lesson with us – made us think about the importance of saving money
Cheers!

Sara – I am sure that your father is extremely proud of you. He definitely should be.
Christie – I am glad that you are sharing your feelings. Continue to be strong.
Dave – It is nice to see young people care about the environment. Keep it up!
Meghan – It is always important to plan for the future. Best of luck!
